ذاودد عبد المنعم, رشا2025-09-032025-09-032017https://dspace.omu.edu.ly/handle/123456789/483Two field experiment were conducted at Belghara, El-Baida, El-Jabal El-Akhdar area situate at 32o 21' N latitude, 21o 46' E longtude and 588m altitude during 2014/15 and 2015/16 to study the effects of seeding rates (100, 120 and 140 kg/ha-1) and methods of seeding, Broadcasting, drilling 15cm a part and ⅔ the rate by drilling and the remainder ⅓ by broadcasting. The experiments layout in split plot design by 4 replicates. Seeding rates comprise the main plot, meanwhile, methods of seeding in subplots 7.5m2 in area. The results revealed that: 1- Seeding rates recorded highly significant differences in plant height, number of tillers per plant, total tillers, leaves chlorophyll a, b and total, net assimilation rate, light extinction coefficient, photosynthesis efficiency and leaf area index, meanwhile, no significant effects of most mentioned trails in both the two seasons of this study due to methods of seeding. 2- The spike characteristics (length, weight, Number of grains and spike grains weight were responsed highly significant to seeding rate, meanwhile unaffected by methods of seeding in both the seasons of this study. 3- Biological yield give a highly significant increase due to rates of seeding, least 1.63 and 1.59 t/ha-1 due to seeding of 100 kg/ha-1, highest 2.47 and 2.86 t/ha-1 in case of the rate 140 kg/ha-1. Inspecting methods of seeding showed unaffected of that yield in the both two seasons. Similarly in grain yield increased significantly with increasing of seeding rates that, least 0.62 and 0.76 t/ha-1 due to 120, 100 kg/ha-1, the greatest 1.17 and 1.39 t/ha-1 due to the 140 kg/ha-1 and with significant difference in grain yield in case methods of seeding in the first season, least 0.80 t/ha-1 from broadcasting method comparing the biggest 0.88 t/ha-1 due to mixing methods. Straw yield were highly significant affected by seeding rates in both the two seasons, least 1.07, 1.08 t/ha-1 by the rate 100 and 120 kg/ha-1 while, the great 1.30 and 1.74 t/ha-1 in case of 140 kg/ha-1, moreover, no significant effect of seeding methods in the seasons of this study. 4- Harvest index (HI) were affected with highly significant by seeding rates, least 34.44, 39.79% due to 120 and 100 kg/ha-1 companing greast 47.39, 48.60% where by 140 kg/ha-1 in both the two seasons. Meanwhile HI were not affected by both methods of seeding and interactions in both 1st and 2nd season. Seed index exhibited significant difference by seeding rates in the first season only and unaffected by methods in both the two seasons. Weeds dynamics: i. Un affected significantly count and weight of weeds due the factors of the study in both first and second season with exception significant difference in the weight of weeds in the 1st season due to seeding rate. ii. No significant effects of the weeds density, frequency and weeds dominance coefficients by the seeding rates and methods in both the two seasons. iii. The species of weeds such as Avera fatus as an example of grasses and Brassica tournifortii of broad leaved weeds cause a losses in grain yield by 3.15 and 4.53 gm-2 due to competition from the rate 140 kg/ha-1 as inter and intra specific competitions without reasonable losses due to methods of seeding in both 1st and 2nd season.otherSeeding rates, methods of bread wheat (El-Masri) cultivar and their effect on weeds competitions at Bilghara in El-Jabal Al-Akhdar conditionsمعدل بذار وطرق زراعة قمح الخبز صنف المصري وتأثيرهما على منافسة الحشائش بمنطقة بلغراي بالجبل الأخضرThesis
