This study examines death and its significance in the literary works of Ghassan Kanafani. The research aims to explore how Kanafani addresses this concept in his literary works. Kanafani is a prominent Palestinian novelist and author who has made a significant impact on Arabic literature. The analysis includes a study of his novels and stories to understand how death is embodied and depicted in his works. The analysis revolves around the literary techniques and symbols Kanafani employs to convey his vision of death and its impact on the texts and characters. The research aims to provide a comprehensive insight into the influence of death and its associated meanings in Kanafani's narrative literature. The researcher examines the literary concepts and techniques employed in the Libyan short story and analyzes the linguistic methods used to convey the message and their impact on the reader.Item type: Item , الشركات المتعددة الجنسية وأثارها على التنمية المستدامة في أفريقيا: دراسة في الجغرافيا السياسية(AL-MUKHTAR JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE, 2006-06-30) الحديثي, عباس غالي; بن عمور, خالد محمدلم تعد الدولة الفاعل الوحيد والمالك الرئيسي للقوة والنفوذ على المسرح الدولي في ظل النظام العالمي الجديد، بل أصبحت هناك فواعل جدد ينافسونها في ذلك ، يأتي في مقدمة هذه الفواعل الشركات المتعددة الجنسيات بالإضافة إلى المنظمات العالمية الحكومية وغير الحكومية وغيرها وتمتلك هذه الشركات من عناصر القوة والنفوذ والتأثير ما يجعل الدولة تتراجع أمامها خاصة بالنسبة للدول النامية التي تعتبر المجال الحيوي المضيف لنشاطات هذه الشركات ، تلك النشاطات التي أضرت بالبيئة والإنسان والتنمية وبالتالي بالتنمية المستدامة التي تجمع العلاقة بين هذه المتغيرات الثلاثة في تلك الدول وتأتي في مقدمتها الدول الأفريقية منذ زمن تجارة الرقيق وانتهاء بالمديونية والايدز من هنا يمكن تحديد مشكلة البحث بفحص دور الشركات المتعددة الجنسيات في التأثير على التنمية المستدامة في أفريقيا ، ونتائج ذلك التأثير وآليات تحقيقه وكيفية الاستجابة الأفريقية تجاه تلك الآثار المترتبة على نشاط هذه الشركات ، لاسيما إن دور الشركات المتعددة الجنسيات لم يتم تناوله من قبل الجغرافيين في مجالات مختلفة على الرغم من أهميتها كفاعل عالمي مؤثر. The state is no longer the sole active player and primary holder of power and influence on the interna-tional stage in the new global system. There are now new actors competing with it in this regard. At the forefront of these actors are multinational corporations, in addition to global governmental and non-governmental organizations. These corporations possess elements of power, influence, and impact that cause the state to recede, especially for developing countries that are considered vital arenas for the activities of these companies. These activities have harmed the environment, humanity, and develop-ment, thereby undermining sustainable development, which encompasses the relationship among these three variables in those countries. African nations, from the era of the slave trade to debt and AIDS, are particularly affected. Hence, the research problem can be identified by examining the role of multina-tional corporations in influencing sustainable development in Africa, the resulting impacts, the mecha-nisms by which they are achieved, and the African response to the consequences of these companies' activities. It is noteworthy that the role of multinational corporations has not been extensively studied by geographers in various fields, despite its importance as a global influential actor.Item type: Item , الخصائص السيكومترية للصورة العربية لمقياس الاتجاه نحو الطب النفسي(AL-MUKHTAR JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE, 2006-06-30) المنصوري, أبوبكر مفتاحيتناول الخصائص السيكومترية للصورة العربية لمقياس الاتجاه نحو الطب النفسي. يهدف البحث إلى تقييم صحة وموثوقية الصورة العربية للمقياس وقدرتها على قياس الاتجاه نحو الطب النفسي بشكل فعال. تم جمع البيانات من عينة من الأفراد العرب وتم تحليلها باستخدام الأدوات الإحصائية المناسبة. وتشمل الخصائص السيكومترية المدروسة الصحة النسبية، والموثوقية الداخلية، والاعتماد الهامشي، والتحليل العاملي. أظهرت النتائج أن الصورة العربية للمقياس تتمتع بخصائص سيكومترية جيدة، حيث يوجد ارتباط قوي وإيجابي بين مكوناتها المختلفة. تعزز هذه النتائج قابلية استخدام المقياس في البحوث والتقييم النفسي في السياق العربي. توصي الدراسة بمزيد من البحوث لتحقيق التحقق من صحة الصورة العربية للمقياس وفحصها في عينات أكبر ومتنوعة من السكان العرب. يمكن أن يسهم هذا البحث في تعزيز فهمنا للاتجاه نحو الطب النفسي في الثقافة العربية وتحسين جودة الرعاية النفسية والصحية في المجتمعات العربية. This research examines the psychometric properties of the Arabic version of the Attitudes Toward Psychological Medicine Scale. The study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the Arabic version of the scale and its effectiveness in measuring attitudes toward psychological medicine. Data were collected from a sample of Arab individuals and analyzed using appropriate statistical tools. The studied psychometric properties include relative validity, internal reliability, marginal reliability, and factor analysis. The results showed that the Arabic version of the scale possesses good psychometric properties, with a strong and positive correlation among its different components. These findings enhance the usability of the scale in research and psychological assessment within the Arab context. The study recommends further research to validate the Arabic version of the scale and examine it in larger and more diverse samples of Arab populations. This research can contribute to enhancing our understanding of attitudes toward psychological medicine in Arab culture and improving the quality of mental and healthcare in Arab communities.
