| dc.description.abstract | Two field exberiments were conducted Agricultural Research Exberiments Station in Omar El- mouktar University duriny summer growiny sersons 2012 and 2013 to evluat yield and yield attributes of soybean cultivars) Giza 83 and Giza 111) meds row spacing and plant orientation Results reveald that highly Significant differences imthe time et growth from V2 to R . stagea in the case of Giza 111 uocm row spacing when the arrangement of the plants in east west direction , The results exhibited in dependent lutaraction between this study factors in both the two seasons . Similar cultivars showed similar response ui case et time of bodding and leaf area iudex and significant affect due to row sbacings or blant orientations in the two seasons ;mean while highly significant resbonse due to interactions crob cultivars rows acing and blant orientation not effect significantly in seeding filling pod and plant height except that the east- west seeding showed significant differences in LAI in the both two seasons moreover indepedtnt effects due to the study factors . Regarding the effect of crop cultivars ’ row space and plant orientation plant dry wt no pods plant seeds pod length was not significantly a ffected in the both 2 seasous with the exceptions of significant and highly significant ………….. in pods plant due to orientation east- west in both seasons . The suitable interactions showed independent responses. Refering the mean values of biological grains straw yield harvest index and 100 kernel weight in both seasons 2012 and 2013. Results showed that the above mentioned characters wese not increased significantly due to crop cultivars row spacings and plant orientation with exception of significant affect due to the effects of row spacings in both the seasons or east – west planting in st season only .With respect to interactions it could noticed that these interactions was not significant in both growing seasons regarding that trait. It is noteworthy to record that mean values of seed oil % did not show a significant differences due to crop cultivars in both seasons mean while this differences increased significantly by increasing row spacings in the st season the maximum % was 14.2% due to cm .plant orientation and the iuteractions was not significant in the both seasons . Resutls of crude protein % showed significant diffcence between crab cultivars the greatest value 117.8% was recorded in Giza 111 and 18.21 due to row spacings 60 cm in the first season only . concerning the estimates of crude protein % was not effected 6y either plant orientations or inter actions in both the seasons . From the peevious results it could de coucluded that the heighest estimated of soybean yield yield components and agronomic charaters will de generally achieved throughout a combination of Giza 111cultivar row space 40 cm and east west plant orientation | en |
