| dc.description.abstract | Two field experimens were conducted during the growing seasons 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 at the agricuhural research station in omar El-moktaar university to investigate the response of egyptian clover to seeding rates (30,40 and 50 kg\ha); clipping time (60 , 90 and 120 days from sowing ); affecte of Two six rows barley (wadi El.koof and Giza123) and one Two rows variety (Giza 128) when ever sowing after fallow or clover in different times. Results revealed that , 1- Response of Egyptian clover : Number of plants/m2 ; no of leaves/plant was not affected significantly by this trial factors.plant height recorded a significant differences due to clipping time. The seeding rates was not effected significantly in leaves area , mean while , clipping time revealed asignificant effecte in that area.similary a significant differences in fresh weight due to clipping time or trail factors interaction in both seasons , the highest 16.29 kg m-2 When the crop clipped after 12o day comparing to the least 9.98 kg m-2 after 60 days from sowing , more over , that weight was not affectad by seeding rates in both seasons, seeding rates not effected in the crop growth rate in 1 st year , while was effected significantly in this rate in 2nd season , on the other hand clipping time effecte the crop growth rate in 1st season , the least was recorded after 60 day from sowing comparing after go day with no significant effect in 2nd season both seeding rate and clipping time exhibited highly significant differences in bacterial root nodules that, leat recognised by 50 ,30 kg \ ha seed and clipped after 60 day omparing to the hig hest due 90 kag/ ha Seed and Clipped after day from sowing in both Two seasons , respectively . clipping time showed a highly significan differences in crude protein contents , least ,10.80 ,10.58 % was recorcled due to clipping after 120 days , meanwhile , the highest 12.37 , 13.58 % when the forage was clipped after 90 or 60 days from sowing in the 1st and 2nd seasons , respectively. 2- Response of barley crop : No significant differences in the emergence percentage due to (p.c) different crop seeding time and the prvious crop in both two season . crop growth rate showed asignificant differences due to (p.c) in 1st season only , the higheat after the clover comparing to fallow when seeding during januory . (p.c) effected the net assimilation rate (NAR) in both seasons , while no significant affected of crop canopy vitality (c.c.v) due to this study factors in both seasons . Asignificant differences in leaf area index (L A I) due to (p.c) in 1st and 2nd season moreover , asignificant difference in L A I in 1st season only due to time of seeding , the largest due to seeding at December comparing to januory . wadi El-koof variety revealed asignificant in cneose in LAI Comparing to Giza 128 in 2nd season only .(p.c) exhibited asignificant differences in the plant height in both two seasons and in the 1st only due to time of seeding .The crop varieties was not effectein the plant height. the P.c showed ahieghly significant diffenences in tillers m-2 The greatest after clover comparing to fallow in both two seasons , on ther other hand that tillers was significantly effected due to different sowing time in the 2nd season , greatest when sowing during December comparing to November Mean while the number of tillers m-2 was not affected significantly due to different barley crop varieties in both seasons of this study . similarly , p.c was showed ahieghly significant in the number of bearing tillers m-2 in both two sensons, meanwhile the other factors of this trail wan asignificant effecte in the no of bearing tillers m2 except significant effecte due to sowing time in the 2nd season in the no of nonbearing tillers. The spike characteristics revealed significant diffenences in spike langth and weight in the 2nd seasons. The p.c and seeding time exhibted ahieghly significant differences the spike grains weight in both two seasons highly significant differences was revealed in biological yield due to P.C.Greatest 4.96, 4.94 tha-1 due to seeding the barley crop after the clover comparing to the lowest 2.55 and 1.35 tha-1 resulted from after the fallow soil in both 1st and 2nd seasons , respectively. Significant and highly significant differences in abiological yield due to different time of sowing in the seasons respectively , also the different of barley crop variotees was not effecte in the biological yield in both two seasons similar responces was recorded in the grain yield that was ahighly significant increases in this yield , hieghest 1.17 , 1.12 after clover and least 0.39 and 0.52 tha-1 from fallow soils in 1st and 2nd seasons . the results showed nonsignificant differences in the grain yield due to time of sowing in 1st season and significant increases in 2nd season , least 0.57 tha-1 when the crop sown . in januory comparing to largest 0.96 tha-1 from seeding the crop in November without effect of varieties crop differences in amount of grain yield in both seasons. The straw yield showed ahighly significant differences due to (p.c) , the lowest 0.96 and 2.03 tha-1 in fallow soil comparing to the largest 3.79 and 3.82 tha-1 due to farming barley crop after the clover in both seasons respectively mean while , the sowing time and crop vanieties was not effect in the straw yield in both 1st and 2nd seasons similar responce in the straw yield was showed from the study of seed index of barley crop. The % of barley grains content from protein due to the different of (p.c) was significant in first season only least 6.6 % resulted from sowing in fallow soil , while largest 8.03 % was recorded from after clover sown. The time of sowing effect in % of protein in 2nd season only and the different of barley crop varieties was not effect in % of protein contents of grains in both two seasons. | en |
