خلاصة
Two field experiments were conducted during the two growing seasons
2016-2017 and 2017-2018 at suluntah region situated in latitude 32 N, 2
and 805 m altitude above sea to investigate effect of sowing date (first Nov and
mid of Dec) and wheat genotypes (TUS, TR,SERI ))comparing to kofra-1 as
adopted cultivar), and the correlation behavior of yield and its
components.Thestudy designed in split plots by three replicates. Results
revealed:
1. Effect of sowing date:
Sowing at 1st Nov was superior significantly comparing with the sowing
date in of most traits comparingto 15 Dec wherein their effect on the number of
daysto arriveto germination(10.91) day from sowing date in 2nd season. Well
gave less the number of days to arrive to tillering stage (93.00,75.25) and tillers
longitudinal (104.67, 103.58) day from sowing date in both 2 seasons
respectively. While the sowing in 15 Dec given the number of arrive to
physiological ripe where recorded (187.92,167.17) day from sowing date in
both 2 seasons respectively. Also the sowing date in 1 Nov superior in the effect
on plant height (87.7,75.8), number of spikes / M l (89.75,179.2) in both 2
seasons and flag leaf area (/ cm2
) in 1st
season.
No significant differences between the sowing dates on spike attributes
(spike length (cm) , number of spikelet per spike , number of spike grains ,
spike grains weight (cm) , biological yield , grain yield , harvest index , 1000
grain weight and straw yield ) in both 2 seasons .
2
Effect of genotypes:
Recorded significantdifferencesin genotypes effect on growth
characteristics. SER and TR recorded less number days to germination arrive (
16.67, 16.00) (10.83, 11.00) day from sowing date in both 2 seasons
respectively and plant height ( 87.00 , 92.7 cm ) , (77.6 , 77.3 cm ) and high
averages to spike length was ( 8.12 , 10.63 ) , ( 7.48 , 8.72 ). also high averages
to number of spikelet per spike ( 15.20 , 16.13 ) , ( 23.00 , 28.85 ) . as well as
the highest than the number of grains per spike (40.4,42.3)(34.5,40.00). also
SER and TR superior on other genotypes in high biological yield (4.50 , 4.86 ) (
4.93, 5.19 ) t/ ha-1
and grain yield ( 0.86 , 0.82 ) ( 0.82 , 0.81 ) t/ ha-1
in both 2
seasons respectively . aswell SER and TR genotype give less number of days
arrive to tillers longitudinal. Where are the record lowest averages (104.17,
104.33) day from sowing in 1stseason.SER genotype record less number of days
arrive to longitudinal stage (104.17,102.33) day from sowing in both 2 seasons
respectively. as the same genotype recorded less number of days to arrive to
tillering stage (79.50) day from sowing in 1st
season. TR genotype was superior
in the record of less than number of arrive days to tillering stage (96.50) day
from sowing. as well as for maturity stage (191.83) day from sowing in 1st
season and highest averages to flag leaf area (/cm2
) while a recorded the local
variety (kofra 1) more than one to number of tillering and number of spikes / M
l (131.50, 254.00) in both 2 seasons.
2. Effect of interaction (sowing date x genotypes):
Showing the interaction between sowing date * genotypes significant
differences in its effect on germination time , where superior both of (SER and
TR ) genotypes at the sowing in 1 Nov well less than a number of arrive to this
stage where are the record( 10.67 , 10.00 ) day from sowing in 2nd
season
andless than number of arrive days to tillering stage (92.00,93.00) day from
sowing.and the highest averages were recorded to maturity stageduring the 2nd
3
season and high of plant height ( 90.2 , 103.7 ) ( 94.6 , 101.1 )1
and grain yield (
1.050 , 0.943 ) ( 0.997 , 0.987 ) t/ ha-1
during both 2 seasons as indicated the
interaction effect between sowing date x genotypes superiority both of kofra 1 ,
SER and TR given less number of day arrive to longitudinal stage at the
sowing in 1Nov ( 102 ,102 , 103)(101.33 , 100.00 , 101.33 ) day from the
sowing during both 2 seasons .while the local variety ( khofra 1) during the
sowing in 1 Nov recorded more than one of the tillering and number of spikes /
M l ( 182 , 348 ) ( 122.67 , 237.3 ) during the 2 seasons respectively .
Correlation grain yield was positive and significant withspike length
number of spikeletand grains per spike, grains weight of spike, plant
height, biological yield and harvest index in both the two seasons
